Japanese Speaking Associate – Credit Administration (Receipting)
Job Responsibilities:

Role Purpose

Manage the Accounts Receivable cash applicationsystem to ensure timely and accurate receivables receipts


Details

Receipting

  • Update the cash book in an accurate and timely manner

  • Update payment receipts for Inter-bank payments

  • Update payment receipts for Cheque payments

  • Update payment receipts for lock-box processing including:

- Payment advice & cheques imagedownload.

  • Downloading bank files from bank website

  • Ensuring deposited cheque matches

  • Clearance of unmatched files from bank

  • Update payment receipts for cash payment,credit cards and cheques

  • Prepare journal files and cheques for banking

  • Reconcile payment, enter Credit Debit transfers, returned cheques and giro

  • Record daily cash collected count and preparation for banking weekly

  • Check validity of cheques and arrange bank-in/collection by the Bank

Job Requirement:

MUST

  • English
  • Japanese (JLPT N3 level and above)
  • Willing to learn accounting related knowledge
  • Fresh Grads are fully encouraged to apply!
  • Basic Accounting knowledge or willing to learn the Basic Accounting knowledge

Preferred Experience and Attitude

  • Software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Sound numerical skills

  • Typing skills

  • Technical skills (computerised AR systems)

  • Good communication skills in English and Japanese, both oral and written
